This page is for Soroka: Shared Expenses, published by Oleksii Babchenko.
Deletion happens straight away. There is nothing to wait for and no request to approve.
A guest account has no email address, so an emailed request cannot be matched to it. Delete it in the app, the same way: Settings, then Delete account. A guest account that has not been opened for three months is also deleted automatically, with its household and receipt images.
Write to alekseykpi@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. It is handled the same way and confirmed back to you.
Permanently and immediately: your account, your Google or Apple sign-in identity, your email address, your display name, and every session token belonging to you.
Expenses, item lines, shopping-list entries and receipt images that are already in your household stay with the household, detached from your identity and shown as belonging to a former member.
This is deliberate. A household’s records are shared, and erasing everything one person entered would rewrite the other person’s own financial history - months of their totals would change because somebody else left. Detaching the identity satisfies erasure without doing that.
If you are the last member of the household, there is nobody left for the records to belong to, so the household is deleted outright - every expense, every shopping-list entry, and every receipt image with it.
The live database holds nothing of yours once deletion completes.
Encrypted nightly database backups are kept for 35 days and then deleted automatically, so a copy of your data can survive in those backups for up to 35 days after deletion. They exist only to recover from a failure and are never read to look anything up.
You can, and you do not have to delete your account to do it.
Any expense, receipt image or shopping-list entry can be deleted inside the app at any time, and it is removed for the whole household. That is the fastest route and it needs nobody’s help.
If you would rather ask, write to alekseykpi@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and say what you want removed - particular expenses, your receipt images, your shopping list, or your whole expense history. It is deleted and confirmed back to you, and your account stays as it is.
You can also export everything you can see - profile, expenses, items, list, categories and links to your receipt images - from Settings → Export, before deleting anything.
